What do you think will result from launching new store brands? Will it succeed in trying to attract young customers and boost sales?
I do not believe new brands will bring some drastic success, but it is certainly good that new brands will be launched. Finally!
I wondered why it was not done before.

Remains to be seen since a lot of customers have started to love the Wamsutta products especially the sheets. The Nestwell is nice but the packaging with a lot of the bedding items are very bland, and hard to differentiate sometimes when it comes to the pillows and comforters.
From what I understand Target does very well with their private brands. MT had a lot to do with the private brands there. I am optimistic and as another poster said the costs will be lower hence a higher profit.
If the new own brands just break even with the brands they are replacing, then it will be a net gain, because the costs are much lower.
eh, the quality is about the same as the stuff it's all replacing; having 8 different kinds of nestwell sheets, those probably won't do as well, but the pillows and rugs and such are just replacing the basic wamsutta stuff we've sold all these years...nothing special, certainly not to the level corporate is touting it, lol, but it's more profit on the basic items that have always sold well
Not holding on hope of the quality if you look at the past couple of years garbage
Depends on quality of items, doesn't it?
