With these “talents” left in Teradata, it amazes me that there aren't more product innovations. /sarc.
They laid off some of the most innovative and talented people in this company. Where are they now? They shine in the companies they are in now.
On the other hand, they left some of the least creative people who do not have the capacity to create anything innovative. All Teradata knows is laying off the best they have.

This is expected. Many people who still stay here just want to punch the card and collect pay checks, nothing else. What do you expect them to produce?
I remember when our Partners/Universe Conferences were so exciting because we had a BIG announcement of a new product..... now, it's the same thing, we're just using different Marketing verbiage. :-(
OR was the head of product, then COO, the. CEO. Our product stagnated under his leadership. He announced from the stage that the biggest customers would never go to the cloud. So we are playing catch up instead of being the market leader
If OR was still the CEO, TD would still be innovative and exciting and he would've let HGA loose on the Product side. Unfortunately VL and the older non-tech ELT got rid of him to keep the status quo alive, laid off the talented people who speak up and continue collecting big a– paychecks for doing nothing.
The good engineers are being held back by managers who have worked here for over 20 years and aren't familiar with the new technology and processes. Innovation is stifled by insisting on staying with the way we've always done it before.
There are some good engineers left but the management types know nothing but due dates. Nothing k–ls innovation quicker than false pressure and bs timelines.
The marketing and PR geeks are some of the best a– kissers out there. Especially the director level. They’ll be puckered on ME’s butt as the ship goes down.
Most of the remaining people are the best sycophants and status quo keepers.
