It's now being tracked whether or not people who've clocked in have done their wellness check. Does anyone know if there's more to come? Things that would address many of our concerns for example better shields at the registers. I know this year the company wants to work on the customers experience but hopefully they start allowing us to enforce the masks.

You do realize that the reason GOP Texas Governor Abbott opened up the state at this time is not about the economy or the safety of all Texans. The reason the narcissistic fool made his big move was to take the focus off his catastrophic failure to deal with the states' electric grid and water issues. The reason Texas is such a mess is that if they had tied into (and could have benefited from) neighboring states' electrical grids during a crisis, Texas electricity company would have had to be regulated. You know, with intelligent oversight to prevent what happened from happening. But NOOOO. Abbott opened up the state to divert attention. Opening up now becomes the new shiny object for the 24-hour news cycle.
Texas Governor Greg Abbott tweeted:
I just announced Texas is OPEN 100%.
EVERYTHING.
I also ended the statewide mask mandate.
Hasn't that been tracked for a while already? We get called by our managers if we "forget" to call.
Macy's doesn't care about you... they just want to open up credit cards....thats where the money is.
My store has required customers and employees to wear masks properly since we came back from furlough last may. If customers refuse then they are refused service and asked to leave. It’s not Macy’s. It’s by order of the governor
