"Asheville did not announce any layoffs..quit the BS. I work here."
Actually they did announce it; we had a meeting weeks ago and they definitely warned us.
I have noticed the last few weeks of several Aviation salary folks leaving for positions in Power and even other companies, most notably to Amazon. Retirements are up especially in upper management. Some jobs are not being backfilled. Gettin' while the gettin' is good? Perhaps. Hourly layoffs were mostly took care of last year. Forty percent at some sites and few if any callbacks expected this year. This year is toast. Better luck next year.
GE Aviation Total Rewards US Benefits team were notified their positions will be eliminated as part of the recent RIF. Details are being worked on and are hoped to be elaborated on by the end of March.
More to come late April to be off books by Q3.
Any confirmation of layoffs in Cincinnati? I don’t see anything in the news.
There were layoffs last Thursday in Cincinnati.
12% reduction in Asheville to be announced this week, not good for CMCs.

Asheville announced another 12% layoff that will be effective this week.
Layoffs on hold for now. Waiting on the new numbers. Some things are stirring.

Probably doing it this week.. the legacy people are licking their chops in Wilmington hoping lower wage employees get the axe so they can start getting over time again.
