It appears some folks in tech are being offered retention bonus and/or stocks. Is this happening everywhere? I asked my manager and was told to wait for more info to be made available after mid March. Manager asked me not to discuss with others. What’s the deal? Is business bouncing back?

I got it - 14% of base pay as a bonus split over certain period.
Would that be the SAM team?
There's a small group of excellent men in the Technology organization, without whom the business would fail to deliver certain strategic products and platforms. These are talented, intelligent, dedicated men, with skills valuable to any company, who must be kept busy at Nordstrom.
They know who they are, and store 803 knows, too. Instead of envying them for this perk, admire and emulate them. Seek them out and work with them, learn from them.
