I’ve been offered a position with a company that had layoffs last year. I am not sure if accepting would be in my best interest or if I should keep looking. As bad as I want out of here I’m hesitant that I could just be setting myself up. I want to keep looking but honestly I can’t stand working here much longer. Any thoughts on what I should do?

Get out and keep looking while you start fresh. Asking the union is a complete joke, you owe them nothing including any more dues, assuming you are a union employee. Do not overthink it just leave because the company is not going to get better and all companies have lay offs, especially during an unexpected pandemic. Also, make your own decisions and dont seek help from online trolls especially union rats on this site.
Run....don't walk. Your odds will improve!
Ask the union what you should do.
Don't walk run, this place isn't even trying to get any better.
Nice to know that you are that trusting that you would reach out to complete strangers for career advice. Good luck with that!!
