Thread regarding ADP layoffs

Too lazy to start all over?

The important questions everyone should be reflecting on and ask themselves are: “Why am I even still working for this company? Am I really that desperate? Can I not go anywhere else? Am I really too lazy to find another, less stressful, better paying, respectful place to work? ”
Truth is, ADP is highly desperate and made a grave mistake eliminating those good employees that made ADP successful through the years. Now they are in fear of it all collapsing and continue the bad decisions because they don’t know how to lead or innovate.

Very good observations from one of the threads below. I stayed here longer than I should have because I kept thinking things would change for the better. There is also the fact that I am too lazy to start all over again from the beginning in another company.

I worked there 32 years and was fortunate to qualify for the early retirement. I worked in learning training clients. I had a wonderful manager and teammates. I could feel in my last two years even that department was going get very stressful to work in. I agree with the one person who stated they stuck it out thinking it was going to get better. Many years ago ADP would have been trying to make it better and it took perhaps years for people to realize it is not. Very scary to be at an age where you may have trouble actually getting another job. So very sad. Thank you God I qualified for early retirement and took the package. My prayers for those who are still working there.

Sorry, but nothing about ADP is acceptable anymore. Just not a good place work or be demeaned all day and be put in fear.

I’m also in that category. I knew I would not like it at ADP in my first week but I am still here almost 3 years later. I left a great company of 10 years for this so I wanted to make it work but I will be leaving soon.

And unfortunately, that "lazy" might not work out well at ADP. Things won't get better if they don't fire the CEO and every single one of the top management embracing this plan. And I don't think anyone can see the execs getting rid of themselves. So, the future is more horrible management and fear stressed employee life and a continued slow Kodak-like decline of ADP.
