Thread regarding Apache Corp. layoffs

Days of having a career at Apache are long gone

People who still believe they can have a career here are living with their heads buried in the sand. Look around you. How many people who've been here for more than 20 (or even 15) years are still around? As soon as you reach a certain pay grade, you become a liability and your job security melts away. If you want to build a career in a single company, it's time to move on.

APA may decide to replace you in the name of diversity, so don’t worry too much about doing good work!!

Today I’m happy I got my vaccine through Apa. I hope when the industry gets better Apa does the right thing and continue career development for everybody; not only for the so called “rotators” but also for employees with all experience levels.
If you’re a former rotator I hope u r not complaining, you probably had over 30 weeks of classes in the last 3-5 years.

There's no effort made in career / personal development and LinkedIn is now the extent of the training offering. Here for the paycheck.
