With more layoffs on the way, now is the perfect time to start looking for a new job. And trust me (since I've done both before,) it is so much easier to look for a job when you're already employed then after you've been laid off. But if you don't feel like it's the right time for you to leave (although I can't figure out why for the life of me) at least make sure you're networking. Staying in touch with people who can help you in the future is crucial. Just think about it, would you help somebody who's been in touch with you constantly over somebody who just called you up when they needed a favor?
