Why do they have to fly drones? Every yard has a eye in the sky with surveillance cameras and a shift map of every yard and every locomotive, car and employee in a particular service unit! Omaha knows which yards are profitable and which ones aren’t!

The drones actually belong to BNSF, there using them as surveillance and as reference material on how NOT to run a Railroad.
