Thread regarding ADP layoffs

Inside Sales Layoffs?

Anyone hear anything? Forecasts are nightmarish and leadership (SEs) are getting really stressed out.

Work from home lowering productivity is becoming increasingly blamed but the fact is the opportunity is not out there. I haven't heard of layoffs being planned for inside sales but I am curious what's coming down the pike? The current headcount can't possibly be sustainable considering the drastic decrease in revenues. Yet it seems like they continue to advertise sales positions.

You know where the "sizzle" comes from when cooking bacon, right? It's the FAT.

So based on the posts here it looks like you're saying Carlos is lying about Next Gen payroll - at what point does he cross the line of directly misrepresenting company information/misleading investors. Won't this create a problem for ADP or Carlos in the long run?

As a client rep, NextJunk Payroll is not something I would want handling my payroll.

No offense, but that is a dumb question. Do you really think Carlos is gonna come out and say "Here is our Nextgen payroll we have been working on for years and it is really bad. You won't be happy with it but sign up anyway. It breaks often behind the scenes and it doesn't really do what we promise, but just overlook that and pay us for our failure."

In the last earnings call Carlos talked a lot about how much 'sizzle' was being added to the demos and the overall launch of next gen payroll. There seems to be a disconnect between how well next gen payroll is being shown/perceived, why is that?

NextJunk payroll is awful. Behind the scenes, it is missing so much stuff and so much of it is fragile and far from useable. It is a complete joke compared to Workday. I am embarrassed to be working for a company peddling this as a solution for our clients.

What is there to sell? The fake "Nextgen Payroll" garbage? Or the super crummy "Workforce Now" hacked mashup trash? These products absolutely are a complete joke compared to Workday or many competitors. Hard for us to sell vaporware or highly unstable, insecure products that clients despise using. Wake up ADP!

I was hearing inside sales in HRO. Also GPT. My sincere belief is they will target anyone regardless of who they are. They have created a culture of tension and fear and it is only way for survival for the few at the top who managed to get into positions they were never qualified for.

Maybe they’ll hire some honest sales staff, you know ones that don’t promise clients things we cannot deliver and then let Implementation and Service deal with it?

Just sales positions in HRO? Field or Inside?

The advertising of sales positions is to get in cheaper paid employees and get rid of existing employees. Layoffs of sales positions is all but guaranteed. I am hearing about more layoffs in RPO, GPT, and HRO.

This place is not a place to be proud to work at and certainly does not care about its employees.

I have heard lately, but if you read back a few months there were posts talking about future layoffs for Inside Sales and GPT. Seems ADP just doesn't get it. They need to layoff the Debbie Dysons of the world and those fat salary do nothing execs.
