When I first came here and saw how outdated technology was, honestly, I couldn’t believe it. This company company differs from winning companies in that those companies are investing more in modernizing technology.
Teradata don’t seem to understand how much impact such outdated technology has on the company at all ??? Maybe that’s why they’re not doing anything to modernize it.

Don't look down, you are not suppose to notice you are whipping a dead horse up to it's nostrils in the river floating downstream. Keep whipping the dead horse (application). As long as we can get support revenue from the customer we are golden.
So what is modern nowadays? I grew up on mainframes and they are still around and performing well. Some of the new stuff is so rushed out the door that it falls apart. So many young kids rabble on about modern architecture when us folks who have been around a while just laugh because it's the same c-ap we were pumping out in the 80's. The young kids think they are leading edge when all of it can be found in any book from the 80's.
The cloud stuff is a joke.
I can’t wait for the next Universe Conference to see how ME & CT try to spin their product and put more lipstick on a pig.
Just jorts posting in between their uber deliveries and taking it deep with losses on GME, AMC, while using their ancient technology of phone, keyboard, wheel, camera, and computer to post nonsense....hoping to recover their coin of the realm
Exactly. Teradata has been resting on its laurels, leveraging a technology developed in the 1970's. Only incremental improvements since. In the last 40 years there has been no real innovation. The cash cow has been milked-out and shortly will be superannuated.
