You don’t need to be some big business expert to conclude that Sears may definitely have to change their business model into one that is more efficient and appropriate to the new circumstances. It is a mistake that the company did not start to adapt more actively to new trends long before the pandemic. What do you think, is it too late for that now and what would that business model be like?

The model was for Eddie to buy Sears and sell off the real estate. Unfortunately for him, the Great Recession of 2008 k–led his plans and he was stuck with a dying retailer with nobody of experience to run it. It has been a slow liquidation with only tax write offs for him and his companies since.

Look around–it's all about liquidation. There is no future other than that.
