The revolving door continues!

Nobody has mentioned the GMM hire - he hasn't stayed very long anywhere either. Hard to say if he's been successful. 10 months in his last role. And short stops before. That's consistent with all of the GMM experience going out our door. The message is clear that tenure isn't desired. He is known in market though and that's a plus. That should be a given but our super nice friend of the CEO chief merchant really isn't.
Gvr got his big payout...he could retire tomorrow as he doesnt have a care in the world..The company can hire this or that...it still isnt profitable
I will miss Katie - passionate and now the apparent scapegoat. She wasn't in the role long enough to measure her fairly. Is GVR getting pressure and blaming her?
GVR has been here for how long? This is his third or fourth try on digital leadership. GVR pushed out the incumbent who is now at Google. Brought in the guy from Petsmart who seemed to be pretty good but GVR quickly gave up on him. Brought in the Nordstrom guru and then Katie herself took over. SHe's gone now And look where we are.
Agree that the new guy has moved around a lot - lets's hope he's here longer than the others. He left Apple in 2016 and has been at two other companies since. And EBay looks like it had its problems online when he was there. Let's hope he makes it. We need success . But we're his fourth company in about 5 years.Talk about revolving doors all the way around. Koryl left and it's been a mess ever since.
They are cutting more mid level management.. Saw it on facebook neiman marcus s—s page..they are doing this for show .plus they are trying to go way more internet only...that digital first strategy from Katz rehashed .
