When the unemployment rate rises, stocks go up. They go up because because high unemployment means interest rates won't be hiked. When interest rates are low, money flows away from bonds and bank deposits.

Stock is up because VMware just reduced its costs.
There are three classes of people:
- investor class
- working class
- poor class
When there is a lay off, workers lose.
Where there is a pandemic, war, natural disaster workers and poor lose.
