Judging by the past few rounds, there is usually six months between any larger layoffs. Which means we should be safe until June or July, right?

Staff left at McAfee, almost have (0 or negative) negligible skills and unfit for job markets.
Come march all mandated "knowledge transfers" will have concluded. Because nothing will catch someone new up on 10+ years of local know-how like being bombarded with meetings followed by ushering talent to their own front door.
No, search Google for planned layoffs coming in March. I know my colleagues are jumping ship before we get let go.
Or am I being too optimistic?
