I like Larry. GE headed in the right direction.
Larry doesn't seem to find time lately as a golf buddy, hope the weather gets better soon.
Have faith in GE.

Don’t worry more dumping of the worthless employees will continue. Starting with those wine arses the T rates or as many d states would say the temp rates. LC wants his bonus and the only way to do do it with such low demand is to start chopping heads again.

Well there was the dumping of "dead weight employees" but they haven't all been dumped. There are still plenty to go around and they can still do a lot of damage while they are here.

Everyone screamed GE was doomed, dead, finished. So a new fixer comes in, dumps the dead weight employees (which everyone cried about on this board), and starts turning GE around. And guess what, you're complaining. Jeeze. Find a new job where the CEO loves everyone, budgets are not a concern, shareholders don't care about performance. Oh wait.....

Pretend like all the shareholders are distilled into a single person. If I hire a guy who costs $47M and he ensures that $5.2B of profit is made in a year in one of the many companies I own, I'd assume he's doing a bang up job, and don't particularly care about how he does it. Now if he loses money too many years in a row, I'd fire him and hire another guy. His boss is the board, who are picked by the shareholders. He's as hireable or fireable as you are.

You too have the opportunity to become a CEO, or even an owner of a company, it only costs like $250 to set it up in most places. If you can hire a guy to run a store who costs you $47 a hour and keeps you making you $5200 an hour I'm pretty sure you'd keep him on too. If it goes south there are a lot of people who are more than happy to take the job.
