The sad thing is the dream is there, the plan isn’t though. You get juggernaut enterprises attempting to simplify processes and then digitize them and for what? To make it cheaper for the customer ... or cheaper for us? Too often, it’s to make our operation cost cheaper and the customer ultimately squeeze our margins further and further.

Does digitizing really add value? Do sensors in the field warrant higher charges $ ?
