Are you really telling me that the company isn't capable of doing these layoffs in a day or two and has to drag them out throughout the entire week? Why? There's no good reason for it. And it's certainly not doing any favors to employees. We are stressed out as it is, the last thing we need is more added stress that could have been avoided.

Are those impacted getting the bonus?
From my understanding, they give you like 2 months to look and help you find a job. Drink away!
Sorry, but don't forget that you can negotiate your layoffs terms. So spend that time to figure out what is best for you before that meeting. I'm not sure you need to give them an answer on the spot.
