Someone explain to me, how Oxy is going to transition into a renewable company with a $55b purchase of anadarko. How is it possible? Are we dumping permian for pennies? Who is going to buy it for 80% of what VH paid for it?

Please. Oxy is all talk, to cover up their big mistake of 2019. They were just moving managers out of CO2 in 2020 because they have no grasp of what Wall Street wants. Didn't they buy APC for its large Permian SHALE assets.
Nice that Oxy is at the forefront of the C02 initiatives. Now we just need to get the government behind it and maybe they could be our biggest customer.
