Have the layoffs stopped ?

has IT been impacted of late? Lots of managers and so-called directors pushing documents.

"Have the layoffs stopped?"
That's funny. Are you trying to be funny?
If you are serious - I almost wish I had that wide-eyed, child-like naivety and innocence about the world. I've seen too much to ever be like that again.
No the layoffs have not stopped. We are talking about HPE right? With HPE, the layoffs have not stopped, not will they ever stop. Oh, and stop asking stupid questions.

As a new hire Design Engineer out of college with Bachelor of Science Electrical Engineer 43 years ago at a Major Semiconductor / Defense Electronic Manufacturer in Texas 2 Older Engineers (25 yrs plus experience) told me about THE LAYOFFs. They said that even a PhD in Engineering would not save you from THE LAYOFFs. Of course I thought they were just talking and trying to scare me. They said the next time you stop at Burger King ask the cashier about THE LAYOFFs. So consider yourself special to get this free knowledge share about THE LAYOFFs. They will not go away they will be there even when there is no more HPE. They are a subroutine that continues to execute the best and the brighest where ever they go.

"Hi Dorothy" you are not in Kansas anymore and nor are there any Wizards in the Land of Oz. Just some of the HPE Executive team standing behind the curtains without a strategy.

To sustain this state of numbness just enjoy the ride and make sure you do not click the heels together on those ruby slippers. The Story has been played many times before and the outcome is the same "Dorothy" will wake up and appreciate her surrounding and all of the people that she met in the land of Oz and what role they played in her returning back to Antie M and Kansas.

All staffing in IT is happening in India. IT US is capped. IT project teams are outsourced to, pick your favorite, non US based .Consulting firms. People in US IT will be replaced eventually.
