Thread regarding Allscripts layoffs

Townhall Questions

Someone send this post’s link to Paul Black, Rick Poulton and Erikka Buracchio (HR SVP):

Question 1: If there are no merit increases in 2021, aside for the March 2020 merit which was deferred to Jan 1, 2021, then how do we motivate employees to produce more and stay happy? 2020 PMRP is not even relevant then.

Question 2: No bonus for anyone (P4+/M1+), will there be a bonus this year when we saw record insider stock sales/bonuses given to management (remember our stock was $4.56, now at $17)?

No merit increases, no bonuses and no promotions (hire 2/3rds in India, bring new hires or college grads): these are strategies to lose your top talent in a time when other healthcare orgs (BCBS, Optum, startups) are hiring and keeping employees happy.

Got an offer and tendered my resignation today. Finally put a period to my Allscripts nightmare. Good luck to my fellow colleagues. Start looking for outside opportunities and win your life and dignity back. You deserve better than what you received from Allscripts. Bye bye PB and LK.

I doubt that anyone will refund the money to Allscripts. Donating to the Food Bank or some other deserving non-profit would be a great alternative. It would be nice to hear from people that actually opt to do that. Just post a note: "I donated my $500 bonus to XXX".

I think in India they are quite happy with the Bonus as it pays off a months rent or may their rations.

Everyone who agrees the bonus is a joke should send it back or donate to a needy cause!

I'm on the what a joke side. If you mentally accept it...it's like condoning partial abuse... unless you recently hired ( less than 6 months) GET out... Nothing good going on there.

Glad to get it and put it in the bank. More would be great but, I am not writing them a refund check.

It’s a joke that they are giving a $500 “bonus” versus our normal 15% Global Corporate Bonus.
