Lay offs are the talk of the town so far for 2021 within the company. Even if your manager is aware of it, I doubt they'll be able to give you the head's up about it. Just start looking for a new opportunity now to get ahead of it if you think you're at risk.

Regarding the layoffs in Oct 2019, Marketing Managers & Directors were NOT informed, their teams were contacted by HR & ME without notice unless you were part of the popular kids group.

By now everyone should know there’s a constant threat of layoffs, so an official notice would just sort of be moot.

First Level and Sr. Manager. Near zero notice, or phone call with HR to lay off employee real time.
Director: 1-2 weeks
VP or higher...anyone's guess...whenever SM tells them too.

I'm asking because of a guy who keeps insinuating he knows stuff but I think he's just full of it.
