New Denver Office Rumblings

I was told on good authority to brush off my resume and be ready for big changes here in Denver HQ. Can anyone else confirm?

Anyone under 45 should be brushing off their resume. This industry is under assault by state governments and now the feds.

Maybe move to The Woodlands building or sale to Chevron who has Noble's properties up there. The permit moratorium is being expanded tomorrow for a year.

CoC provides layoff protection for 3 years from date of acquisition. If Oxy were to lay off any LAPC personnel prior to August 2022, they would receive the severance compensation specified by CoC.

If Oxy made a decision to close Denver office and offered personnel jobs in other business units (Midland, Algeria, Oman, Qatar-west, etc), the personnel would likely either have to relocate or resign.

COC does not expire until August 2022. That’s how.

Who would buy any Denver-based assets right now? If no one will by it, it’s better for OXY to just hold on to the assets in the meantime.

How is COC still in place?

It’s going to be good to be laid off. Change of control still in place!

Biden has banned new drilling permits, so we’re leaving the Rockies.

Why do you need to confirm "good authority?"
