I was walking thru the mall and heard announcement that the mall will be closing in 30 mins... I was shocked because it was 6:30 Pm.... then i asked someone and they said year during the week now the mall will close at 7pm and on weekends be open to 8pm. so then i google all the malls in my are and low and behold they all follow same schedule. .. Now if this doesn't strike you as malls are toast your living under a rock!.. (side story here)there was a small fast food joint i use to hit growing up.. they made burgers and such..my friend worked there as a line cook... after about a year with declining business they put up a sign that said " New Limited Hours" me and my friend laugh it as advertising this is a good thing... moral of story within one year the place was boarded up. Gone after 20 years..

its not for a " few months" this is the new norm... malls are done.. get out of the mall asap !
The mall in our city is own by CBL properties group, so on Monday till Thursday it closes at 7pm. Friday & Saturday 8pm. Sunday 6pm. Ever since CBL properties group file for bankruptcy the stores and restaurants in our mall are closing or leaving the mall for good. There's less traffic in our mall and eventually the mall will become a ghost town. I think Macy's will become the only store left in our mall. It's the only mall in our city in Laredo, Texas.
It's just for a few months.

Yeah I just found out our mall closes at 7 weekdays M-Th, 8 on F/S and 6 on Sun! I had no idea at all. Our store is open an hour past the Mall. Store is empty that last hour during the weekdays.
