Apparently, TC Energy will layoff people...soon...Not to scare anyone...but people are talking. The truth is that Safety, Quality, and ALL other "Specialists" & "Advisors" should be looked at again...Yes, some are moving around in Canada (SK,AB,BC)...in order to escape...but hey, some of us would like to know, who keeps hires them on and off, who keeps them and why....
While some people were released in one way or another, others kicked out a while back ...returned as ADVISORS...seriously?!?!?!?! Do we need ADVISORS who have a hard time speaking and writing English..."QUALITY" work, huh - Come on!!!!!!!!!!!! Someone should investigate who hires them, who recommends them, and so on.
They should be laying off the safety people. Ain't nobody got time for safety.

I lost 3 co-workers and we were far removed from the XL project. We are a compressor station in big rapids mi.. they let a lot of great people go. Our station was not unique, it happened all across the county. My close co-worker was a single mom of 2 daughters and just had bought a house a year earlier. This is real life when politics gets wrapped up in energy. Great people get hurt...
Should lay off environmental inspectors in ab. They are only concerned with finding the best wildlife to murder and have no respect for our watersheds in our communities. "LG" likes to sharpen his big game skills. In my area.
Layoffs of Keystone Pipeline employees. Employee has wife and 3 children living in Houston. Stay at home mother was taking cancer treatments for her breast cancer. She is approximately 45 to 50 years old. Was there any counseling on Insurance, unemployment, etc????? Was any council on prospects for employment elsewhere???
1000 jobs only construction jobs most of them are 3rd party contractors. Internal jobs won't be affected much
This is union construction jobs....mo–n. With internal folks to follow after demolition and restoration of sites is finished, probably take about 6-12 months.
