It's hard enough for a company with limited resources to get things right, BUT these guys have the money.... the issue is they dont have the talent. They have never taken the time to harvest managers that can think on their own... they want puppets. People they can tell what to do... transactional managers... completely against the grain of their "intimacy" model which was suppose to fight Staples "transactional" model.
More Importantly... what happens now? What happens to the careers of the hundreds of people that work here that depend on their salary. Im sure that's never been thought about. No one knows... you know what would help.. if the CEO or anyone in that group would give some guidance...but the silence is deafening. This is the same company that took 8 months before they addressed the ONCE IN A LIFETIME PANDEMIC... 8 months... grow a pair of balls, and address the thousand people that were still here. I guess they thought it wasn't important. My neighborhood Dunkin Donuts counter person called me 2 months in to see how I was doing!!! I hope for the sake of the people that are still left they figure it out......cause the landscape is changing.... Wall Street is coming for them... Staples & Essendant are the same company....WB's wholesaler is Essendant.... Sycamore who owns them both now wants Office Depot.... The other wholesaler was bought by a group of industry pro's.... who probably hate WB..... who's left in the field? Who will be left... and that's without Amazon making a push into the B2B.... which they will or are already quietly.... WB's reputation of being the bully will come to haunt it... cause everyone wants to see the bully get his a– kicked.

Check out some of the new reviews on Glassdoor, you can tell the ‘family’ has heard about the truthful ones here and there and have the few remaining minions post 5 stars, this is a great place... the most truthful one I’ve seen there was ‘it’s a place to get b2b experience to use to move on to Pharm/Medical sales’. That’s what I did!
When employees write reviews like the last one, you know that it’s 10 times worse ! I’ve heard stories of Mason ordering employees to write positive fictional reviews on websites, to counter the many many negatives that people have written.
I still work at WB.. It’s done. Damn shame place is shot

This may be the most hated company in the world. I’ve never seen so many unhappy/ angry employees. It’s getting to a point where the only people willing to work here are the useless Regional and Branch Managers who eat and watch videos on their phones all day.
Well put!! Guarantee the Greene’s and that fat f&$k Chris Meehan are still living high on the hog, with no regards whatsoever for the thousands of loyal people whose careers they basically destroyed.
Hope Mason goes the way of all the independents that they forced out.
