Do you really think Juniper would have large-scale layoffs a day ahead of Christmas? I know this company is capable of doing many things, but that'd be too much even for this place. The bad optics would be too much. The next round of layoffs will not happen before January. So relax and enjoy the holidays. And Merry Christmas everyone!

And laying off 40% of overall employee base sounds way too much (even for juniper). Do you mean 40% of some specific team would be impacted?
