The article sadly didn't go into detail enough on the bullying & harassment side of things but trust me I was there and it was and is still going on but you'll never change the re--rded attitude of the mo--ns put in charge of the Jizan project and ask yourself maybe that's why it's YEARS behind schedule and BILLIONS over budget, people in positions they're not capable of being in, young Saudi 'Engineers' allowed input at the design stage which is now coming to light and the realisation they've almost fu---d the project, the Aramco circus in Jizan are a laughing stock worldwide with clowns like Saleh,Rajab,Kamli, Moussa,Assiri still allowed to run amock it's no wonder this project is an ongoing sh-t show.

I left in 1998 and Saudisation had been the 'big thing' for a long time before that. It still is and will remain so into the future. There is a reason that it is taking multiple decades to implement, but the Saudisation wheels will keep on turning regardless.

With regards to query when Aramco was ranked number one employer in oil and gas sector globally it was 2020 my friend. Look it up. Ranked 26 globally among all employers which is also pretty good. Well deserved too.

I know the author personally. Aramco were given a full right of reply and refused to comment beyond “we value our workforce and do everything we can to protect them”... the usual BS from those id–ts.

As to the idea that the article contains any factual inaccuracies, again, the article has passed FT legal team review prior to publication and all statements are based on demonstrable facts which could be proven beyond reasonable doubt in a court of law.

All in all, a factually based article which shows the level of indeptitude, incompetence and vile mismanagement at work in the company.

As for being Forbes number 1, what year was that? 1921? 1821? It was certainly not any year starting with a 2 that’s for certain!

Poorly written article. Surprised by FT. No balance. How come Aramco is rated by Forbes as number 1 employer (as rated by employees) in oil and gas sector. FT take a few ‘whistleblowers’ and tarnish company reputation. Totally unfair and misleading.

Yes Aramco is now a very mismanaged and desperate company. I left Aramco more than a year and a half ago and just now they are chasing after me for $712.40 due to what they say is their mistake and it appears to be medical insurance related but there are no other details. Not sure if it’s a scam… so if you leave Aramco they reserve the right to come after you for the rest of your life?

Their letter:

Please be aware that you have a pending balance due with Saudi Aramco in the amount of 712.40 USD due to a finalization of calculations for your final pay.  Please find an invoice detailing the outstanding amount in the first attachment.

Kindly remit the amount due using the bank account and IBAN (SAMBA) number details in the second attachment (Employee Receivable Deposit form).  

Once you have remitted the funds, kindly reply to this email with a screenshot of the receipt from your bank.  Once submitted, we will confirm receipt of your email and that your balance has been settled.
