Thread regarding Sungard Availability Services layoffs

After 8+ years

I’ve always been hesitant to move on. I enjoyed working with my coworkers and have gotten comfortable over the years. Luckily, I’ve made sure to broaden my skill set and keep my networking active because you never know what can happen here. So when I was laid off, I was prepared. This is not a "go, me" post, just a reminder to everybody that even if you think you're safe, make sure to be prepared. Your future self will thank you.

Now pour one out for the homies in Pune. What's it mean when even the outsourcers are getting laid off?
