Should we warn them?

What exactly is NH’s relation to VL? I’ve heard different things.
NH has an interesting post on LinkedIn about this life-changing meeting he had with VL where VL expressed concern for NH’s son. Touching for sure, but perhaps less so if they’re all kin folk.
Asking for a friend.
Teradata doesnt have one leader who can pass the Teradata basic certification exam that is the kind of talent we got in the company. Why do you think all the customers are jumping ship and leaving Teradata? I can give you the answer.. it's CLOUD and AWS/Azure. We had zero strategy when it came to CLOUD for past five years. Our wise CTO and CIO's just collected paychecks while the customer jump ship. The best strategy was keep dumb guys on leadership positions so that they can go and hire more dumb guys. Look at what the company has done for five years? They have let go of some of the smartest engineers who are busy helping customers move to new environment. If one of the top business schools were to conduct a study on Teradata they will find that this was the only company on planet that has maximum number of dumbest people at the top for the longest time.
This dude is going to get chewed up and spit out from a company based in Massachusetts. Those mass holes will tear him a new one quickly
By "success", you must actually mean privilege, then yes - the most successful Sales exec
D–gs. Seems to get the best of them. Not enough in CA for him to ring in the New Year tomorrow.
And the best part is kt has no idea that nh threw her under the bus with grandpa
Let’s see. He’s a white, male, straight, mid-30s, mormon. He must have been given everything. Oh, and Vic’s godson. Let’s pile on to the most successful next-gen executive. No wonder why nobody under 55 wants to work at Teradata.
I have actually out in a call with Human Resources at Alegeus to give them some background on NH. What a POS!!! Not only is he not humanly capable of leading but he is not a good human period!!!! Total POS!!! We all know that he got his position with TDC because of Uncle Vic so please don't tell me that this scumbag earned anything.....he should have been let go a long time ago and started work at a car wash where he ultimately belongs......I feel bad for his wife and kids to be honest with you....total disappointment to mankind....
Attributing the $50 stock price to a single person that was not even close to the real drivers of the stock price many years ago is a figment of the imagination, guess you can fool some people some of the time...
The ROI was a $50 stock price and highest revenue equivalent and AIP payout. The Cisco experiment failed with SB and PF, and it dismantled the GTM strategy. EMEA was the only region that still executed the strategy. How have they faired? Compare the regions.
Can we discuss how nh took over the financial force implementation and immediately laid off the exec responsible for the project?
If you did not understand the essence of the Teradata value prop - you added no value to the field...
And - way too many people in the place who had no presence in front of, or ability to impact a customer conversation
I never worked directly with Nate, but he was put in a Sales Ops role at the very beginning of the Bain failed experience and introduction of Sales force. He led that message to the field and it was heavy handed (we must adopt Saleforce no matter what). It also resulted in a number of Cisco hires (fails), and laser focus on what was input into Salesforce, so those same managers could sit behind a terminal and look at Salesforce reports - instead of meeting with customers. In fact, those same managers couldn't carry a meeting as to who Teradata was, what industry we were in, and how we were different....... Sad. Nate definitely had connections with TDC senior management including Uncle Vic and was in way over his head. Interesting to see that the only place he could end up was a Senior VP role with KT. Says a lot.......
Full time (day) college kid also getting full time director salary. Now hidden so deep in organization so no one will notice. No deliverables and no value add but gets a sweet salary for being the kid on the block, a diverse point of view if you can get past all the ums and “I don’t know” and “what do you think” because he has no idea what to do but get a paycheck for zero work.
Stalking? You realize LI broadcasts to the world and sends a direct notification that he picked up another job? Also, everyone in sales uses him as the butt of every mismanagement joke. Maybe he’s well liked by his direct reports in SO, but to those that actually have to deal with decisions (us in sales) loathed him. He was extremely cutthroat to those he competed with and his aloof demeanor around the office really did him no favors. Just thought another perspective without those rose colored lens would help.
Aside from that, I’m sure he’s a great dad/husband. This is solely a critique of his professional side.
Vista will figure him out very quickly
Anyone who needs velcro shoe closures because they can’t tie their shoe laces should probably try another choice of career.
It’s a one product, best of breed focused company so it’s really not that hard to enable the business to take said product to market and generate revenue....
No stacks of software or partner model to factor in, no complexity in the message requires for the customers. Same software work on premise as in the cloud.
How could you fail in that 101 level of job, FFS ?
"Have you ever met NH or worked with him? He was one of the most liked and successful sales leaders and a massive loss. "
The only massive loss under his leadership was revenue. Yes this is a layoff forum and his ineptitude was responsible for massive layoffs.
Isn’t this a layoff forum? Have you ever met NH or worked with him? He was one of the most liked and successful sales leaders and a massive loss. This commentary about him verges on a stalking like obsession. I hear NH has a few kids too, should track them down now???
I think Vic Junior has that covered....
