And yes, their favorite way to save money is by laying off employees. It's a shameful short term fix that winds up costing company more in the long run. I wonder if they know about any other way? More than half of global layoffs will be in US.

I wonder what your suggestions are for saving money. Employees cost a LOT of money.
Sometimes you need to trim employees and restructure the business in order to save the larger company and save the majority of employees.
It's not like they are laying off most employees.
