I've finally started to relax this past weekend, thinking that at least I can enjoy the holidays since they wouldn't have layoffs that close to Christmas...and then I started to stress again because I realized that I couldn't put it past them to do something like that. I've lost all my trust in the company. They've burned us so many times that no matter what they say, I can't trust those on top anymore. Which is wrong in so many ways, but there isn't much I can do about it. Other than find a new job, which I'm trying to do.

I found a job the first week of looking bringing home $930 weekly after taxes and paid BCBS.
Halliburton is a suc-hole and will never be what it once was gentleman.
Think of Jeff and his many elves as BAD Santa. (I also have a feeling that Uncle Dave, and maybe even Uncle Richard (Cheney), still have a place at the trough)
Anyone above department manager has NOTHING but contempt for the peeons doing the actual work.
The 'peasants' in the field, or in the shop, are a necessary evil to keep middle and upper management fed, clothed, and warm.
Just dropped my 2 weeks notice.
See you guys on the other side
Unfortunately this is true about any O&G company...
Your not looking to hard because I was not looking when I found this job.
Some things never change.
I felt the same way mate. I left in 2017 and it was the best thing I ever did. Hal is a great place, and I miss alot of my co workers, but there are far greener pastures out there. I don't mean that as a knock to HAL, but the industry and their place in the value chain of oil and gas makes it a hard place to work. There are so many ups and downs with mediocre pay, job security, and opportunities.
