Considering the fact that our leadership has little desire to actually be involved with employees, a PO Box in Delaware could act as "HQ" just effectively.

Z5qtR - Melville should never become HQ again, it's too hard to attract quality workers, the cost of living is too high, the cost of hiring quality people is too high and Melville keeps the old Ademco way of thinking alive. Actually Resideo should consider closing down Melville for good to save the company a lot of money. All the "great" security products came from Melville, let's give another state the chance to f@@@ things up for once

Agreed. For a while I thought it would be GV, because they were hiring up for a lot of ancillary positions. The whole sale-leaseback thing for the site seems to indicate otherwise though.

Corporate should be located where we already have operations (Minneapolis, Melville or any other larger facility in the U.S). A corporate office for a public company should never be located to satisfy the CEO's preference, we saw how well that worked out and how much it cost us last time. The top executives are already traveling in luxury on our dime on a jet, so who cares where they have to fly to. Any more waste of company resources on a company HQ should come out of the pockets of the board or whoever is responsible for approving it.

If that's your reasoning, which offices should actually stay open?
