I agree with the bad comments about ADP however I need to know what department was laid off. If you can't give us that you are as terrible as Carlos in my opinion.

That is the understatement of the year! ADP is a HORRIBLE employer and a HORRIBLE place to work these days. Liars and highly unethical people all in charge now.
The layoffs will continue. ADP is not a good place to work at and build your career. Leave on your terms for a better and more stable work environment rather than wait for the axe to fall on you and be unceremoniously walked out.

Why is everyone so hoping this is fake news? ADP has certainly done this before. They did it in Alpharetta in 2018 I know of where they walked out a department full of people. ADP has been on this ridiculous plan of "transformation" in such a desperate attempt to be relevant and seen as hip or cool. All they have accomplished is losing there best talent and are left with the crummy cheap people they have brought in trying to save money. Clients are p-ss-d. Sales are down. Forecasts are not good. And the business landscape of small businesses (i.e. their clients) are being deiminated by the effects of the pandemic and horrible state policies forcing closures. No, I think what people are saying here is "please don't let this be true as it might mean ADP doesn't care about me or it's employees and that might mean I could be next." Well wake up! ADP is still in the middle of more planned layoffs and has stated that is continuing into/thru 2021. Now I don't know the facts behind this threads original post and that persons experience but it really does not matter - ADP IS a terrible employer these days, more layoffs are going to continue, and it is a depressing place to work now.

I have to agree. Do you think your job or elimination of your job is more devastating than for anyone else? Do you think everyone laid off before hasn't or isn't struggling? Are you special? Sorry to hear ADP is still up to it antics, but really, not at all surprised. More will happen. btw, news flash: it's a pandemic for EVERYONE in the world, not just you, and guess what ... others are laid off and out of work too!

Hmmm - I think you meant to say: "It is horrible for anyone at anytime of the year to be let go for greedy corporate CEO's" There is nothing more or less worse now, or anytime. It is bad but that is what ADP has become - a terrible environment that doe snot value any employee at all. I hope the SVP's and VP's get a big old serving of layoffs for themselves! They are all now just a bunch of unskilled hacks desperately trying to look important and fake some value by laying off the good employees.
