Thread regarding Emerson Electric Co. layoffs

What is in our future?

Let's recap: Emerson plans to reconfigure more than 200 manufacturing plants over the next year in an effort to maintain pre-pandemic production levels while spacing out workers. Which in other words means major layoffs that'll probably be stretched out throughout the entire year. Am I wrong?

If the new administration takes power the majority of jobs will go to china and the rest to india.

The future is relocating jobs to India for cheap labor. Except for the CEO and his cohort, obviously. Anybody lower down is in danger of having their job relocated.

The future and this company should not be used in the same sentence.
These operations as they are have no future.
This is coming from someone who has more than a decade of service and has seen it all, mostly dirty policies that are anti-employee. Bad place to spend your time.
