Great job, Disney, for keeping your pledge to diversity. The layoffs have apparently rarely impacted protected classes.

b—s—. I am "diverse" but was laid off. Manager kept their favorites and the rest of us were furloughed. We were never recalled and got the big cut. This "diversity" bs is meant to distract you so that you can find someone else to hate besides the company and the execs that kept their fat paychecks.
Man, this is so right... WDW has kept the diversity stats way, way up.
My dad was laid off, spent 14 years working at the park.
In a way I think he's better off as he was stressing a lot.
It'll be hard to find a job at his age but he's hard working and smart, he'll figure out something.
I think Disney lost a great employee.
Like good ol white Kareem?
in the end all the white male execs are still up top and still planned to receive bonuses in January. they are just making the women execs do more work (i.e. facetime with the worker bees) so that it looks like there is more diversity. Disney is trying to put a big fat band aid and hoping no one will notice
You should have just written what you meant: "I'm white and I got laid off, but the black person I don't respect kept their job."
Not in the Parks or Resorts at WDWR. Diversity rules!
They hit everyone equaly here at DSS
