I know a lot of people are unhappy at Bass. I read all the complaints here and they are valid. You’re unhappy with the way things are run, with management, and so forth. You can try to find another job with a competitor, but in reality you’ll find the same issues there as well. The problems are all the same in retail. If you want to find something better - look outside of retail. You’ll thank yourself for it, I should know - I am a former employee who is no longer in retail.

I have had numerous customers comment about how fun it must be to work at Bass Pro. I look them in the eye and reply: "Be careful what you wish for because the bottom line is that it is retail and retail s—s especially when all you are is a worker bee."
Something they should tell everyone in high school (although it should be self evident)=Never make retail your primary bread winning occupation. Use it as a side hustle at most-20 hours or less a week whole working a real job.
Our customers are annoying to deal with too.
Throw in poor management also.
Not true, have you been to a Scheels store lately? They are always jam-packed busy regardless of the day or social distancing restrictions. They are proof that Cabela's and BP choked the golden goose to death with Walmart and Home Depot tactics, that is cheap junk, lousy service, and no inventory.
The grass isn't always greener.
