I truly miss the cablevision days. It was a sad time when I left. Glad I have the memories though. Came over to charter hasn't been bad not great but not bad. Certainly not on the horrid level of altice. But too cold to ever be cablevision.
The lesson here is to enjoy what you have while you have it. Change is constant.
Strictly financial move.They want the system functioning better and metrics shaped up so they can appear more attractive to a buyer.Its common knowledge they were shopping it around and noone wanted it.
Same old some old just another excuse to get rid of more staff
unless EVERYONE that went to Charter comes back, you won't see me walk through those doors again. Then again...maybe those does might be Charter doors some day
Bring back the old days, when they bring back holiday bonuses, holiday dinners, show some appreciation. You get what u give.......
These bankers bout to lose it, customers fed up lousy service when u take 5 yrs and demolished this system, 1/3 of service techs left. Ha good luck
20 years in that place. Left in May. Do I miss it? Yea. Do I miss my team? Yea. Before you drink the kool aid I want you to remember one thing. Remember how altice works over seas. Remember how they acquire things. Remember how many people lost their jobs when “nothing would change”. Look at the empty offices in your building and think who were walked out during the AUSA days, it the ATS days. Keep your heads in a swivel. You will never see the Cablevision days again. They cut holiday bonuses before ATS. They cut the toy drop off for individual depots before ATS. Holiday parties stopped before ATS. BBQ’s in the summer stopped before ATS. Being forced to do more work happened before ATS. Remember, Goei straight up once said that he wants to eliminate/reduce truck roles with this fiber network. Keep tour head on a swivel. 3 weeks ago they were paying out bounties to can people. Yeah these guys are trustworthy.
You really think anyone wants to come back to this mess. Especially after the way they were treated.
