What to expect in 2021 when it comes to CDK layoffs?

Got layed off from this company a few years ago and got severance pay. I’m not going to name my department, but we had so many talented people leave CDK and go on and work at some pretty impressive places. I also saw a 30% increase in pay at my next job after staying at CDK for many years and not once receiving a promotion or raise. I’m not sure why I was there as long as I was. Anyways, there are so many better places to work. Get out now and seek better pay, because CDK won’t ever compensate you fairly.
My husband just got laid off from CDK...was told a reduction in sales teams across the board.
Highest NPS score in, I don't know, forever, and they're gutting the CS organization to be sales assistants. Those tired old white guys are going to keep that company in the 80s for as long as they can until they finish selling it off. Then, they can burn their cash pretending like Fortellis has gone somewhere when the only companies calling the APIs are CDK's own products or the ones CDK sold off... They never fixed the underlying code and viola! "DriveFLEX! It's New!" It was TOTALLY worth moving all those engineers off the core to build that giant tube of lipstick to purdy-up-the-pig. "Sales is 120% of plan! ... revenue is flat..." The only things growing at that place are failed acquisitions (red bumber, newcarIQ, ExecutiveEye) and ELT positions. What a joke.
Considering they just had their highest survey reports in the history of the company during a Panasonic I’d say this company is fine.

"Drive Flex isn't going to help them" That is true. Ask anyone who has been part of developing that and they will tell you what a cluster it has been. Of course if you ask the leadership they will spin it positive.
It would not come as a surprise if they sell off the remaining - the “D” - in late 2021
Expect more of the same. This company will continue to shrink and layoff as they lose market share to the newest DMS provider in the industry. CDK is being unhooked at a rapid pace, they are scared and should be. Drive Flex isn't going to help them. The reputation that CDK has carved out for themselves is planted and grown into the next internal COVID for them. Leslie Burns and the rest of the worthless CDK board should sell off quickly because if they don't, their gold parachute isn't going to open, and when they hit the ground it's going to hurt!
