For those of you who got laid off You are ahead of the pack from the Retail apocalypse. Why the rest hang on to the titanic drinking the kool aid. You gone on to see a brand new world and up coming career changes. If you recently quit you are on the right track. , if you’re planning on quitting do it soon. Technology is going wipe M out like it never existed. Do some research and you will see. Don’t be afraid to step out side of your prison cell. Go for it !

Nobody is stuck anywhere. If you got bills I suggest you sacrifice for a long time to get them under control as you search for a new job. Or while your sinking with M take online classes towards a real career. Leave the sweat shop behind
You are aware some of us are stuck here. At least for the moment right? We can apply everywhere and hold our breath until our face turns blue but if nobody calls (or even sets up an interview) whether because of skills or COVID, we aren’t going to just up and quit a job especially during a pandemic (which is a luxury within itself). So yeah we might be on a sinking ship but we’ll go down swinging at least until something else comes along and hopefully that’s before the ship sinks!
To the responder don't be so cranky. Know you don't want to lose your job, but it's a possibility. They might even dismiss you before the closing. Remember, all you'll hear is "it's just business. "
