This is a move to cut costs. You cut your technical department to cut costs and overhead of the department. You bring them in house and realize it’s costing too much you then cut costs in that dept. they knew they were going to do this 5yrs ago. It’s all creative accounting.
As long as PD & his camel jockeys Booby & Gooey are here NOTHING is changing!
Ats was a joke from day one. They need to get rid of bar monop hes toxic and ale rey mun dude got social promotions and knows nothing about construction
The stockholm syndrome is real amongst some employees. This change was only meant to benefit Altice and the money in their pockets. Just like every decision they ever made. This is just one step closer to 100% contractor labor.
you id–ts are celebrating like it's going back to Cablevision Days. You seem to forget that ATS was directed by AUSA. ATS was only doing what AUSA wanted. Where are all the union chants? Or are you scrambling trying to figure out wtf you're going to do with no contracts with ATS. They will get rod of you quicker than you can organize again.
Hopefully both Director’s get booted too. They are all untrustworthy POS.
We should ask where our sign on bonus is. Remember that nonsense? And when they tried to leave out and get rid of everyone on fmla. Including people who got into auto accidents at work that wasn’t their fault . Amazing company.
"Will the Techs be treated better is the question?" They already treated me bad enough to never forgive or forget.
Altice creating more jobs for field techs and construction, they will eliminate the top heavy unqualified Altice USA dummys . They are going the Comcast way soon all trucks will have tracking chips installed to make sure they get their money’s worth
I wouldn’t celebrate. I’m sure this will be used as leverage for them to initiate another round of layoffs and severance packages. I wonder how this will play out with all the cbas negotiated under ats.
time to clean house. your contract is with ATS........and I can almost bet there is nothing in it about this lmao. better call your stewards!!!!!
Will the Techs be treated better is the question?
Who is the union’s contract with??
I’m on this site trying to get info like everyone else . Only place that tells me what’s going on.
It's all smoke and mirrors
Why did ATS fail? 1- Equipment that doesn’t work, 2- unrealistic expectations, 3-intentional over routing, 4-unethical charging practices, 5- Customer service representatives that don’t understand or speak English, 5-Rate hikes on customers, 6-CONTRACTORS.
Bye bye Tootsie!
Fiscal move. Why would they need to pay for 2 of every executive position? They just cut their employment costs down.At the very least,we can all agree the workers and the customers should be the focus of any company.Who knows, maybe now is that time?!We shall see
Fourth quarter my peeps anything and everything they do is about money nothing else just business
Did someone say “Packages “ ?
Something had to give no way you can sustain this type of business model with literally pissing off every single customer you have and having the worst Employee Morel Where are the employees literally feel sick to their stomach coming to work every day
This is great news!!
This is all calculated.
Now we Unionize!!!!
Now what??
I wonder if it has anything to do with their investigations by multiple states.
We have come full circle. Where’s my sign on bonus
"...following leadership changes at Altice Technical Services (ATS), we have made the decision to integrate ATS into Altice USA and appoint Altice USA leadership to lead the group."
"ATS – which will now be known as Altice USA Field Operations – will be led by Pragash Pillai and he will report to me in this new role. I will have more to share as this organization evolves and is integrated with the Altice USA team."
How many people will be let go after the merge back 🤔
