Stay Away from This Company! Stay Away - You have been Warned

Company is absolute garbage. It treats employees like trash. Diversity program is a hypocritical platitude for Management. You will be forced out, fired, laid off, furloughed, pushed aside as soon you walk in the door. I heard HR are making interns write "good" reviews on glassdoor to boost rating!!! Seriously, don't accept job offer here!!

I left there around 2011. I saw the writing on the wall. It was in the years after the Stanley-Black & Decker merger. There were just constantly slow drop layoffs at the Towson headquarters, offshoring of IT, etc so I left. I completely believe this as the type of organization that emerged after the merger was one that would embrace DEI type BS with both arms and legs. Black & Decker overall was a great company that took care of its people. Stanley is the kind of place that would get rid of someone in the middle of cancer treatments to save a buck. This DEI cr-p is all to make a good showing for investors on the Human Rights Index. Self-appointed world rulers set this woke scale up and companies are given a score, and apparently some entities use this score for where to invest money. It is all tied to ESG. I see it is working out great for SBD - they seem to be ousting people and selling off pieces all of these years later.
