Thread regarding Teradata Corp. layoffs

Is it possible that they wanted everything to fall apart?

Now they can hire clueless junior people cheaper to continue the downward spiral of what was once a great company with the best product capabilities. Now you have software that doesn’t perform and is full of empty promises; just like Teradata ELT. Now you have the perfect storm for complete failure of Teradata; clueless management at almost every level, clueless employees since experienced employees were let go and c-appy performing software. The savior cloud technology that Teradata is preaching is blowing far away due to the perfect storm.

Perfectly worded, @1txj+18fGJEeh. The company is heading for total collapse, it seems. Can’t imagine that this is the outcome they wanted, but if it wasn’t, then their moves are totally incomprehensible.

What/who is PE?

run the company so far into the ground that PE buys it and they (ELT) get fat consulting bonuses for 'helping' with the buyout? I know everything these days is pretty much explained by a conspiracy theory but this seems a bit far fetched.

or is it lol
