Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

Canada severance comparison

Canada is being secretive about the severance package because I think they’re trying to screw over those already getting the axe. Those PIP’d earlier in the year received 1 month/year of service to a max of 24 months. I received less than that, which means I would’ve been better off hitting NSI. Anyone else care to share? Thanks in advance.

The US program site contains a severance table. The Canada program site does not.

Goto/canadaprogram

OP is a troll. Trying to setup USA vs Canada bitterness and fighting. No one is hiding anything.

Stay strong my Canadian friends. Americans respect you and are grateful for your friendship.

1 month/year of service

I received over 12 months of severance but fewer than my years of service.

You, OP, are a mendacious conniving liar.
And not a Canadian.

OP, did you mean 1 week for every year of employment, not 1 month for every year?

I very very much doubt anyone received 24 months pay. Not sure who you heard that from but not accurate.
