This is the case with every big company so we are no exception. The fact that some people don't realize this and actually expect humane treatment or some kind of positive resolution for their issue when dealing with HR is shocking to me. Their goal is to make the problem go away in the way that will least hurt the company. And then to get rid of the person who created the problem - which is always the person who brought it to their attention. Keep that in mind next time you have an urge to report your boss to them for whatever reason.

Nothing coming from Baker Hughes holds any weight. I've been watching General Electric.
GE still owns over 30% of BH. Baker stock is higher than the industry average, but i see it as an opportunity in the opposite direction. Baker can buy all of the eco friendly business that they want. The existing poor earning report along with zero eco revenue can be beneficial to the game players.
Baker Hughes is a game changer for sure.
What’s going to happen with Chemicals?
The CEO has stated plainly in the Wall Street Journal" that he is going to steer Baker into the Energy Service industry and that he plans on reducing the Oilfeild Service portion of the baker business. News flash. The whole baker business is oilfield service. Haha.
They tried this when they were all still with GE Oil and Gas and it failed. They aren't business savy enough nor are will they hole the business unit executives accountable, because ole Italy doesn't know anything about the business that he's leading.
OJ Simpson is about to bring nancy boys on a date and they think the outcome will be different than famous bronco chase. on another note, did you guys see the new ford bronco. this is right on time
Protect the company? Don’t know about that. Departments slashed and the knowledge pool severely depleted and drained will cause (is causing) major pains across the industry. Short term gains but long term loss.
The company - HR - is somewhat disconnected to the business and customer service commitment. This isn’t a staffing agency with temp employees, this is an enterprise older than 100 years that has developed solutions and technology for O&G. I don’t see how they don’t realize the company is being driven into the ground?
I never found them funny to watch. Pathetic
HR is just a bunch of little girls with a severe control problem.. Never did me any good. Just bad things from them.
and do you really think this practice is good for the company. they no longer talk about the Big Three - it's now just Hal & Slb. drilling services is more or less finished and all product lines are pretty much for sale. whatever the metric is for success it ain't working but hey keep getting rid of good people.
