With the year coming to an end so does the career of many WB Mason sales people. The mass exit continues and it’s running its course thru Boston all the way down to Florida. Many offices at one time had 60, 30, and 20 sales reps are respectively down to 6, 5, and 3 sales people. Let’s think about this if you read an article in which a company who went from 900 plus sales reps to under 300 and shrinking fast you would think that company is in trouble. In this case that company is WB Mason. I’m not talking about profits, the ownership is making so much money that they have gone into witness protection. What I’m talking about is a company that has lost its luster, soul, and identity. Let’s face it if a company has no people is not a company it’s just an empty building.

What happened to ‘feet on the street domination?’ This never would’ve happened if Leo was still alive! You mean he still is? Might as well call it WB Staples
I received a call asking me to come back at a reduced salary and that they would “take care of me by giving me a book of business to call on.” It was one of the most disrespectful and arrogant calls I’ve received in a while.
It’s not just the salespeople . Many many “behind the scenes “ employees were furloughed as well. These are 35-45k per year workers who did their jobs well, were with Mason for years , etc.
Agree 100%. they'll lose more people in January-March to good companies as they start to hire in Q1 as those companies prepare for a spring revival. Call center in Florida is the only WB MASON location that's hiring. Telemarketers that are sitting in a cubicle. Completely the opposite of what made WB different.
