Being let go was the hardest thing I have ever gone thru. What is also hard is losing all the connections I have made over the years at RJ. What makes it difficult is the fact that with COVID there is very little face to face interaction and I for one relied heavily on zoom as well as messaging at RJ to keep communication going in a very lonely house. Now much of that is gone. Former team mates have drifted away (I don't blame them, they don't want to hear my complaints). What were once daily calls or emails turned into every couple of days and soon into once a week. Now I am down to a couple close friends. Hope everyone is doing ok.

I stopped reading these messages sometime ago but decided to check what was going on and found this one.
You are not the only one, most of my ex-teammates do not really communicate with me, if I send them an email I would get a "hang in there" reply. I live on my own and my family is not close, hey my mother doesn't even do emails nor Facebook nor video conferences, it's all phone calls!
I am sending best wishes to anyone who is under this circumstance!
