People seem to be certain everybody company-wide will be notified by tomorrow. Where is that coming from? Did I miss an announcement or something?

The list is complete and published. HR left the decision to the Communicators on how to give the feedback. Each group is doing it different. My communicator made the hard calls the morning, and then informed the managers to call their remaining team members to tell them that they are safe. Some Communicators are setting up zoom calls with each person in their Decision Unit, typically in random order based on availability or the alphabet or something. My feeling is that they should let people know as soon as possible, but there are complicated things to consider like handover and managing sensitive data.
we were told in our org today (EMRE-FPO) that those who were eligible for involuntary have been told. so if you didn't get a message you're good.
Our group is being informed today, maybe some tomorrow. Our VP said they decided they didn’t want us to wait 2 weeks to know.
Happened to me today via zoom call. S—s, but no sweat there is always greener pastures. =)
I can tell you that for my site, the affected people were all told/being told today. Unless that person is on vacation today, the information is at least going to be out there. That statement is straight from my supervisor.
Haven’t been able to tell how they’re handling it (seen people go into meetings and leave them and sit back down at their desks) for the people who were let go but unless someone at my site tells me point blank they were laid off it’s a little hard to tell what’s going on.
In my group it looks like notifications will continue all week, with an order nobody understands. I think people are making general statements based on the experience of only their group.
