It's been over a year now since HE was gradually vacated, and the few remaining employees who were left were sent home to work in March 2020. (I still miss 'make your own pizza day' on Thursdays in the HE cafeteria, and the 'omelet bar' on Fridays. Good eats!). So with only a handful of stores left, where the heck is the money coming from for our payroll and the pittance they subsidize for our medical insurance?
I get a paycheck working from home, but I don't understand how it's possible?
BTW, in August I moved down to the Keys since I'm 'working from home' for A&E. No one knows! Just living life and having fun with a good broadband connection until this c-apshow ends. Notify LP. I will send the assets back C.O.D. to HE when it's over.

I miss the vending machines at HE. When times were better most floors of each bldg had 1 core with vending machines. When the vending guy restocked them he would take the out of date stuff and place it neatly by the garbage cans by the elavator. This was soda hostess stuff and chips all sealed stuff usually 1 day past expiration. All the freebies.......good times.
I miss working for Sears. Such easy days standing around playing on my phone. Maybe two or three customers all day long- 8 hours paid to play on my phone, how great was that??
i miss the build-your-own footlong hot dog bar. the provolone cheese was supposed to be extra, but i hid it under the condiments !
If I got my vacation with it it would be over 20 weeks. I'm thinking of suing them for my unpaid vacations. If they went bankrupt I'll just let it go but if they became a next Amazon I'll go after them for sure.

Did you receive more than the minimum 10 weeks of pay?
For me I wish that it will last couple more months because of my severance pay. They took all my vacations away just before the plandemic and gave me unlimited vacation which my boss never approved for me to take. Conveniently saved Eddie a money for not paying me for unused vacation days. At least he gave me a severance pay that I'm grateful for.
How is this a problem? Eddie’s been working from his home in Florida for, always.
